Welcome to SAFE, a mobile application developed by Dr. Emily Salisbury in collaboration with Interactive Life, Inc. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the SAFE app. By accessing or using the SAFE app, you agree to be bound by the terms outlined below. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the app.

1. Acceptance of Terms

The services that Interactive Life provides to you are subject to the following Terms of Use ("TOU"). Interactive Life reserves the right to update the TOU at any time without notice to you. The most current version of the TOU can be reviewed by clicking on the "Terms of Use" hypertext link located at the bottom of our Web page.

2. Notice Specific to Software Available

Any software that is made available to download from the Services ("Software") is the copyrighted work of Interactive Life and/or its suppliers. Use of the Software is governed by the terms of the end user license agreement, if any, which accompanies or is included with the Software ("License Agreement"). An end user will be unable to install any Software that is accompanied by or includes a License Agreement, unless he or she first agrees to the License Agreement terms. The Software is made available for download solely for use by end users according to the License Agreement. Any reproduction or redistribution of the Software not in accordance with the License Agreement is expressly prohibited by law and may result in severe civil and criminal penalties. Violators will be prosecuted to the maximum extent possible. Without limiting the foregoing, copying or reproduction of the software to any other server or location for further reproduction or redistribution is expressly prohibited, unless such reproduction or redistribution is expressly permitted by the license agreement accompanying such software. The software is warranted, if at all, only according to the terms of the license agreement. Except as warranted in the license agreement, Interactive Life hereby disclaims all warranties and conditions with regard to the software, including all warranties and conditions of merchantability, whether express, implied or statutory, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement.

3. Informational Purpose Only

SAFE is designed to support system-involved women in learning about, assessing, and reflecting on the eight core elements of women’s health and well-being. The content within SAFE is for educational, informational, and self-reflection purposes only and is not intended as a substitute for professional medical, psychological, psychiatric, or mental health advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

4. No Medical or Mental Health Advice

SAFE does not provide medical or mental health services. Nothing in this app should be interpreted as medical guidance, therapy, or treatment. If you are experiencing a medical emergency or mental health crisis, please contact a licensed healthcare provider or emergency services immediately. We strongly recommend that users consult with qualified medical or mental health professionals for advice specific to their individual needs.

5. No Diagnosis or Treatment

This app does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any medical or mental health condition. Any assessments or content provided through the app are tools for personal insight and growth—not clinical evaluation or care.

6. Limitation of Liability

Use of the SAFE app is at your own risk. While we strive to provide accurate and helpful content, Interactive Life, Inc., Dr. Emily Salisbury, and all associated contributors disclaim any liability for harm, loss, or damages—direct or indirect—that may arise from using this app or relying on its content. We are not responsible for decisions you make based on the information presented in the app.

7. Intellectual Property and Copyright

All content, design elements, logos, trademarks, and intellectual property within the SAFE app are the exclusive property of Interactive Life, Inc. and/or its licensors. This includes but is not limited to all images, text, visual materials, and interactive content. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit any part of the SAFE app without prior written consent.

8. Notices Regarding Software, Documents, and Services Available

In no event shall Interactive Life and/or its respective suppliers be liable for any special, indirect, or consequential damages or any damages whatsoever resulting from loss of use, data, or profits, whether in an action of contract, negligence, or other tortious action, arising out of or in connection with the use or performance of software, documents, provision of or failure to provide services, or information available from the services.

9. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be reflected on this page, and your continued use of the app indicates your acceptance of the updated terms.
